Why should we need to be searched by others and unknowns..?
Hi friends,
Please be cautious about your public profiles in social networking sites like Linked In, Facebook,Google Plus and some others.. If you search your name in any search engine like Google, it puts your public profiles in the search results.
Especially Linked In by default makes our profile information as public (may be accidently not noticed by us) unless we make it as private, which I check for many of friends. Hence make all your public profiles in such social networking sites as private and show only minimal details like gender (only if necessary).
Note: Even after making the details as private, I found some details are still there in cached results. It may take time for them to be erased. Why should we need to be searched by others and unknowns..?
